The first Summer School in Experimental Research in Management Accounting in June 2012 was organized at the University of Münster (Germany). The workshop was taught by Prof. Kristy L. Towry from Goizueta Business School at Emory University, Atlanta (USA). Kristy Towry publishes experimental research in management accounting in leading journals such as The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. The Summer School was founded by Verein Wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Ferienarbeitsgemeinschaften e.V. and the Jürgen Manchot foundation.
